Everglades Bass Fishing Guide
U.S. Coast Guard licensed and insured

I started out fishing in West Virginia small mouth streams for small mouth bass and over the years  fished for bass all over midwest and eastern United States for over  fifty years, the last twenty being in Florida. During periodic breaks from bass fishing I have hunted other fish in both north and central  America, Hawaii, the Bahamas and Caribbean.   I've caught trout, musky, walleye,  dorado, blue marlin, tuna, tarpon, and guided bonefishermen in the  Florida keys for a few years until returning to my favorite of all,  fishing for  fresh water bass.

I have fished tournaments for years and continue to fish them in the everglades.   Most enjoyable for me is showing folks the fishing and amazing wildlife we have  in the everglades these days.

A number of great mentors have taken me under their wings over the years.  Just to name a couple of many mentors, it is important to mention  the late Chuck Woods inventor of  the beetle spin and other lures, and Drew Reese who was 7th in the first Bass  Masters Classic.  Besides  teaching me the ins and outs of  bass fishing,  they taught me the best thing  an angler can do for the sport is to get more people involved in the  fun,  youngsters in particular.

We encourage people to bring kids fishing with them and we will do our best to  instruct them on the basics of casting and the fundamentals of fishing  These kids  are after all, the future of the sport.
